Meet Katie
Katie Donahoe Youth Services Librarian
Katie began working at Peoples Library on November 13th. Her previous job was at Brentwood Library in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. In her free time she likes to write poetry and songs, play the guitar, listen to music, learn new languages, and travel. The coolest place she's ever visited is Bruges, Belgium. The Beatles have always been her favorite band, but she will listen to just about any type of music, so long as it does not include saxophones. Katie has always wanted to work in libraries, and of course enjoys reading. Her top five favorite books are A Clockwork Orange, Bink & Gollie, A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Mysteries Of Pittsburgh, and Neverwhere. Her favorite colors are purple and yellow.
